CERPEN YG SAYA BUAT-IRFAN KHAIRI THE BLIND BOY

IRFAN KHAIRI,THE BLIND-BOY


The story I want to tell you is about a boy,just an ordinary boy but have an extra-ordinary ambition.The story begin with a blind-boy named Irfan b.Khairi,he is an orphan that live with his grandmother call Nek Nab.His parents died after their house was been burn by the villagers(until now Irfan did not know the reason why their house being burn).His parent and his only sister was died in that tragedy and only Irfan was save but his become blind because a wood was crush into his eyes.After the incident,Irfan life with his grandmother.His grandmother, Nek Nab is just an old-village woman that sell “nasi lemak”and with that money, she used it to support their dailly live.Even their life is not in luxury, Nek Nab still make sure that Irfan have a proper education rather than him. Irfan is a form 4 student and his school name is SMK.Seri Tanjong,

Every morning, Nek Nab will make a nasi lemak and Irfan will take some of them to the school to sell it. At school,because of his blindness,Irfan only can listen when his teacher give a lesson.Because of this,Irfan always get the last place in his exam school but Irfan never been dissapointed because he always believe that some day he will become a very successful person.

One day,there was a new teacher from Kuala Lumpur is transfer to Irfan school and the teacher name is Cikgu Karam Sing Waliah. Cikgu Karam is a ICT teacher and his was transfer to Irfan school because Irfan school do not have enough teacher in ICT and the first student that Cikgu Karam meets is Irfan because Irfan always come to school early to sell “nasi lemak” .Without any bad intention, Cikgu Karam ask Irfan how he was able to learn in school with his condition like that, in anger Irfan answer that he never pray things like this happen to him but he never blame anyone because of his blindness and there is much more important thing to think about rather than his blindness. Irfan answer shock Cikgu Karam but now he understand,he was talking with a small person that have big and strong determination in his life. Since that day,Cikgu Karam always help Irfan when Irfan have some problem weither it is education or money problem,Cikgu Karam also give a computer to Irfan because Irfan seems very intresting in learning ICT.

Irfan learn computer with a thousand pain but he never give up,in fact he always feel fun in learning computer.Irfan was been given a special class by Cikgu Karam because of his blindness.For Irfan,this is a first time in his life that there was another person that really take care of him after the lost of his parent besides his grandmother.

After finish his SPM exam,Irfan was received an offer from UK university in ICT course about four years.With tears,Irfan goes to Cikgu Karam house to inform him about the offer but there is nobody at the house. Irfan then ask Cikgu Karam neighbour and the neighbour give a news that really shock Irfan,Cikgu Karam was died in car accident.

At the first, Irfan want to reject the offer but after have been give advice by his grandmother and the promise that Irfan make with Cikgu Karam to change his life. Irfan finally go to UK to study in Stundford Shield University.

After a 10 years,Irfan finally achieve his ambition and fulfill what is promise to Cikgu Karam,he is now become IT millionaire in Malaysian and all this was thanks to Cikgu Karam-thank you teacher.
